Water-logging after heavy rain has been one of the most persistent complaints across the ward. Rather than clearing each blockage as it is reported, the office has been working with GHMC and SNDP officials toward permanent drainage capacity in the worst affected stretches.
Tunnelling and storm-water drain work is inspected on site so that residents can see progress, and desilting of nalas is scheduled ahead of the monsoon rather than after it. Where a new drainage line is required, the case is taken up directly with the engineering staff.
Residents can report a blocked drain or a flooded stretch through the grievance form, and track it with the reference number issued.
