Baddam Prem Maheshwar Reddy is the Gaddiannaram Division Corporator (GHMC), serving the people of Gaddiannaram, Ranga Reddy district, Telangana, as a representative of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
His journey in public service began at a young age, inspired by the values instilled in him by his father, Baddam Subash Reddy. Growing up in Gaddiannaram, he learned the importance of community engagement and the impact of dedicated leadership. His early involvement with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) — where he completed his Pradhamika Varsha, the foundational RSS training — taught him discipline and the significance of serving others, laying the foundation for his future in public life.
Before entering politics, he gained valuable corporate experience as a Business Development Manager, spearheading growth strategies, building strong client relationships and driving revenue. That background sharpened his skills in strategy, decision-making and economic development — shaping his approach to governance and community welfare.
Joining the Bharatiya Janata Party in 1999 marked a turning point. He began as Booth President in Gaddiannaram and rose through leadership roles — BJYM Division General Secretary, BJYM Municipal President, GHMC BJYM Secretary and BJP Division President — before being elected Gaddiannaram Division Corporator (GHMC) in 2020. Through these positions he has focused on empowering youth, addressing community needs and improving local infrastructure.
He actively promotes cultural values and heritage, particularly the ideals of Veer Savarkar, organising events such as the annual Dasara Usthavam, Ganesh Nimajjanam celebrations and youth awareness programmes that foster identity and pride in the community. During the COVID-19 pandemic he organised relief for over 4,000 people, supported vaccination drives for senior citizens, sprayed disinfectants personally and helped families who lost breadwinners; during the 2019 floods he mobilised resources and coordinated relief for affected residents.
