The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) is an electoral-roll revision exercise conducted through the official Election Commission process to verify and update voter records.
The objective is to ensure that eligible citizens are properly represented in the electoral roll, while records that need verification, correction or updating are addressed.
What you should check
- That your name appears in the current electoral roll.
- That your name, relative name and address are recorded correctly.
- That you are enrolled in the constituency where you now live.
- That there is no duplicate entry in your name.
- That newly eligible members of your household are registered.
All corrections must be submitted through the official Election Commission channels. This office can help you understand the process, but cannot submit a statutory application on your behalf.
